Earlier we taught that the previously alleged Redmi 7 or Redmi 7 Pro was none other than the Xiaomi Mi Play which is launching on Dec 24. But seems like that rumor might again go wrong as we have got the first live image showing the upcoming Xiaomi Redmi 7 Pro leaked online.
As per the image, we can see the new Xiaomi Redmi 7 Pro almost similar to previously certified smartphone on TENAA with a waterdrop notch on the front. Besides the smartphone, we have the retail box of the device which mentions Redmi 7 Pro along with Mi branding on the top right corner.
Further, the unboxing video of the Redmi 7 Pro confirms that the device will still arrive with micro USB port and not the USB Type C port and will not include NFC support. The Youtuber also confirms that the new Redmi 7 Pro will cost around $150 (Rs.10,500/-)
So we are bit confused now between the Xiaomi Redmi 7 Pro & Xiaomi Mi Play as both will have an almost similar design but may arrive with different specs once launched. Anyway, we have to wait for Dec 24 for the official details of the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Play.
