Xiaomi was earlier rumored to launch the new Xiaomi Play series in China. We also got to know that the new Xiaomi Play will be none other than the Poco F1 as per various source. Today the company has finally confirmed the rumors with a new teaser.
As per the teaser on Weibo, Xiaomi will call the new lineup as Xiaomi Play which is all set to be unveiled on Dec 24 just a day before of Christmas so that one can gift the new gaming smartphone to loved ones.
Apart from that, nothing much about the device is leaked. As per previous rumors, the new Mi Play might be the re-branded version of Poco F1 which is sold in India. But there are no details about the same. We have to wait for the official launch to get more details about the new Mi Play.
Further, we had got the second teaser from the company which confirms that the new Mi Play will not be the Poco F1. The new teaser shows the moon with U-shaped cut-out that confirms the new Xiaomi Play will arrive with waterdrop display.
If it comes with waterdrop notch then it will be the first Xiaomi smartphone to have such display. The company also mentions that the device will be the lighter in weight and also super slim. As per another source, the alleged Redmi 7 which hit TENAA might turn out to be the Xiaomi Play.
