Xiaomi is all set to bring the successor to Redmi 6 series with Redmi 7 later next year. After spotting the alleged Redmi 7 series in 3C today, the device has just been certified by TENAA in China.
As per the listing, the new Redmi 7 is listed as Xiaomi M1901F9T which now sports 5.84 inches FHD+ (2280*1080p) display. The new Redmi 7 will now sport Oppo F9 like waterdrop notch which carry the selfie sensor. On the back, we have Dual rear camera aligned vertically along with LED flash and fingerprint scanner.
The Volume rocker and power button are been located to the right of the device. Further, the listing reveals that the new Xiaomi M1901F9T aka Redmi 7 is packed by lower 2900 mAh battery. The Redmi 7 measures 147.76×71.89×7.8 mm.
The new Redmi 7 is powered by 2.3 GHz clocked unknown processor which we might expect it to be the SD636 SoC coupled with 3GB/4GB/6GB RAM and 32GB/64GB/128GB storage option. There is a microSD card slot for memory expansion up to 256GB.
The new Redmi 7 features a Dual rear camera with 12MP+8MP and single selfie camera of 8MP. The device still has the micro USB port support along with 3.5 mm audio jack and runs on Android 8.1 out of the box. It will be available in Black, white, blue, red, yellow, pink, green, purple, pink, gold, silver, and gray colors.
