Earlier we had got few rumors about Xiaomi planning to introduce the 8th Anniversary edition smartphone this year and we also got the live images showing the display panel of the alleged Mi 8 along with the retail box package.
Now we have finally got another new leak which shows the demo of the under display fingerprint scanner on alleged Xiaomi Mi 8. From the leaked video, we can see the Xiaomi Mi 8 running on MIUI which shows the faster unlock speeds of the in-display fingerprint scanner similar to Vivo X21 UD smartphone which was launched earlier.
As Mi 8 using OLED display we can expect it to come with under display fingerprint scanner and will be powered by SD845 SoC coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM variants. It will also have support for wireless charging and is rumored to launch on May 31.
