As per Industry Insider, Nokia is now planning to introduce one more budget smartphone with Nokia 1 in March 2018.The Nokia 1 will be running the recently launched Android Go OS on top and is expected to be released Globally.
As per reports, the Nokia 1 will sport HD display with a resolution of 1280*720p.There is no info about the processor powering the device but it will come with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal memory and no details about whether the device will have microSD card.Nokia is now targetting the low-end and budget smartphone category to get back their lost position in the market with Nokia 1.
As per source, HMD Global owned Nokia is expecting to sell nearly 10 million Android smartphones by end of 2018 and is expected to come under top 10 smartphone brand worldwide.Android Go was officially announced at Google I/O 2017 and was relaunched this month.The Android Go is basically for the ultra-low end Android smartphones which are having 512MB to 1GB RAM.
The Nokia 1 is rumoured to be priced at 5,990 rubles (Rs.6,700/-) in Russia.
