Oppo announced the new Oppo Reno5 & Oppo Reno5 Pro earlier this month and the third model aka Oppo Reno5 Pro+ today in China. Previously we even got a teaser from Oppo official about the company keen to bring the Oppo Reno5 series to India soon. Now one of the tipsters has just got the launch details of the new Oppo Reno5 series.
According to the post, the new Oppo Reno5 series will include both Oppo Reno5 & Oppo Reno5 Pro but will not launch the new Oppo Reno5 Pro+ as of now. The new Oppo Reno5 series will land in India sometime in Jan 2021. Apart from this nothing much about the new Oppo Reno5 series is revealed.
So we are still not sure whether Oppo will launch the 5G variant or will come with a country-specific 4G model for India. Anyway, more details about the new Oppo Reno5 series will be out in the coming days. Hope Oppo price the Oppo Reno5 series more affordable so that it can compete with the Vivo V20 series in India.

Further, we even got the detailed specs of the new Oppo Reno5 4G for Global markets. As per the video, the new Oppo Reno5 4G will look similar to a Chinese version of Oppo Reno5 5G. The new Oppo Reno5 4G will now sport 6.4 inches FHD+ AMOLED punch-hole display with 90Hz refresh rates.
The Oppo Reno5 4G will be powered by less powerful SD720G SoC coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage space. Now the Oppo Reno5 4G will feature quad-cameras with 64MP main sensor, 8MP ultra-wide, and dual 2MP macro plus depth sensor with LED flash. The Oppo Reno5 4G will feature a single 44MP selfie shooter. It weighs around 171g and measures 7.6 mm thick.
The Oppo Reno5 4G will pack in a 4310 mAh battery with 50W Super VOOC charging support. It runs on Android 11 with ColorOS 11.1 on top. The device will feature an in-display fingerprint scanner and will arrive in two colours with Starry Black, Fantasy White.
