After the success of Z series and U series, the vivo sub-brand iQOO has just expanded its mid-range series with new addition. Yes, iQOO has just launched the cheapest 5G device with iQOO U3 in China. The new iQOO U3 will come in two colors with Black and Glow Blue. It will go on sale from Dec 17 in China. Sadly no word on Indian launch and availability.
Design:
From the looks, the iQOO U3 gets a slight different design this time but is identical to recently launched Vivo Y51s. Sadly, the new iQOO U3 still features waterdrop notch on the front but with slimmer bezels. On the back, the iQOO U3 comes with a squarish camera module carrying triple rear cameras. On the right, the iQOO U3 feature side-mounted fingerprint scanner and volume rockers. It measures 8.4 mm thick and weighs 186g.
Specs:
iQOO U3 will sport 6.58 inches IPS LCD FHD+ display with aspect ratio 20.7:9. It features 90Hz refresh rates and comes with HDR10 support. The iQOO U3 will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 800U SoC coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The new iQOO U3 will not have support for microSD card slot.
Camera:
The iQOO U3 will feature 48MP main sensor with an aperture of f/1.79 along with dual 2MP depth and macro sensor with an aperture of f/2.4 and LED flash. It features 8MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture.
Connectivity & Battery:
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 5G, Dual 4G LTE, A-GPS, GLONASS, Dual Band Wifi, Bluetooth 5.1, USB Type-C port, 3.5 mm audio jack. The new iQOO U3 packs 5000 mAh battery with 18W Super Flash Charge support and run on Android 10 with iQOO UI 1.5 on top.
Pricing:
The iQOO U3 with 6GB+128GB cost 1498 Yuan (Rs.16,900/-) and 8GB+128GB at 1698 Yuan (Rs.19,100/-) in China.
