Samsung Galaxy S21:
Let’s start with the base model aka Galaxy S21 which is also touted to be the cheapest among the three. The new Galaxy S21 is rumored to have glastic back from Galaxy M and A series this year. Yes, not glass instead of a plastic body probably to keep the cost on the lower side.
The Galaxy S21 sports lower 6.2 inches FHD+ LTPS AMOLED Infinity-O display with 120Hz refresh rates. Sadly, no word on RAM and storage option but we expect it to arrive with a minimum of 8GB RAM and 128GB storage option.
The new Galaxy S21 is indeed powered by Exynos 2100 SoC or the SD875 SoC which is as expected. The new Galaxy S21 features a triple rear camera which is no change from the predecessor. The Galaxy S21 comes with 64MP telephoto lens, 12MP ultra-wide and 12MP main sensor with LED flash.
No word on selfie camera but we expect it to ship with same 10MP sensor from last year Galaxy S20 series. The Galaxy S21 will now have support for 4K video recording at 60fps, Super Steady mode at 60fps and also have 8K video recording at 30 fps.
The connectivity option includes USB Type-C port, Wifi 6E, Bluetooth 5.1, A-GPS, GLONASS, NFC, & in-display fingerprint scanner. The Galaxy S21 will still have same 4000 mAh battery and runs on Android 11 OS with One UI 3.1 on top. The device will be available in Phantom Violet, Phantom Pink, Phantom Gray, and Phantom White colors.
