Galaxy S21 Ultra

Samsung is yet to announce the new Galaxy S21 series launch details yet but every passing day we are left with some leaks. Previously we got a leak from a reliable source revealing the exact look of Galaxy S21+ along with screen protector images. Not just that we even got the key specs of the top-end Galaxy S21 Ultra leaked. We also got the first look of the Galaxy S21 series leaked through CAD renders.

Now finally we have the detailed specs of the upcoming flagship Galaxy S21 series leaked online. As per the source, the new Galaxy S21 series will of course include three new models with Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+ & Galaxy S21 Ultra. All three will have an identical design but with slightly different internals.

As per various leaks, the Galaxy S21 series is scheduled to launch on Jan 14 and will be going on sale from early Feb. Now the source has just got the detailed specs of the Galaxy S21 series which might disappoint a few.

Samsung Galaxy S21:

Let’s start with the base model aka Galaxy S21 which is also touted to be the cheapest among the three. The new Galaxy S21 is rumoured to have glastic back from Galaxy M and A series this year. Yes, not glass instead of a plastic body probably to keep the cost on the lower side.

The Galaxy S21 sports lower 6.2 inches FHD+ LTPS AMOLED Infinity-O display with 120Hz refresh rates. Sadly, no word on RAM and storage option but we expect it to arrive with a minimum of 8GB RAM and 128GB storage option.

Samsung Galaxy S21

The new Galaxy S21 is indeed powered by Exynos 2100 SoC or the SD875 SoC which is as expected. The new Galaxy S21 features a triple rear camera which is no change from the predecessor. The Galaxy S21 comes with 64MP telephoto lens, 12MP ultra-wide and 12MP main sensor with LED flash.

No word on selfie camera but we expect it to ship with same 10MP sensor from last year Galaxy S20 series. The Galaxy S21 will now have support for 4K video recording at 60fps, Super Steady mode at 60fps and also have 8K video recording at 30 fps.

The connectivity option includes USB Type-C port, Wifi 6E, Bluetooth 5.1, A-GPS, GLONASS, NFC, & in-display fingerprint scanner. The Galaxy S21 will still have same 4000 mAh battery and runs on Android 11 OS with One UI 3.1 on top. The device will be available in Phantom Violet, Phantom Pink, Phantom Gray, and Phantom White colours.

Let’s start with the base model aka Galaxy S21+ which is the mid-premium flagship among three. The new Galaxy S21+ is rumoured to have glastic back from Galaxy Note20 this year. Yes, not glass instead of a plastic body probably to keep the cost on the lower side. But we have surprise confirmation that Galaxy S21+ may have a glass back after all.

The Galaxy S21+ sports larger 6.7 inches FHD+ LTPS AMOLED Infinity-O display with 120Hz refresh rates. Yes, this time the Galaxy S21+ has downgraded the resolution for 2K to FHD which is disappointing. Sadly, no word on RAM and storage option but we expect it to arrive with a minimum of 8GB RAM and 128GB storage option.

Galaxy S21+

The new Galaxy S21+ is indeed powered by Exynos 2100 SoC or the SD875 SoC which is as expected. The new Galaxy S21+ features the same set of the triple rear camera as Galaxy S21. The Galaxy S21+ comes with 64MP telephoto lens, 12MP ultra-wide and 12MP main sensor with LED flash.

The top model aka Galaxy S21 Ultra which is the premium flagship among three. The new Galaxy S21 Ultra is rumoured to have a glass back from Galaxy Note20 Ultra this year. The Galaxy S21 Ultra will also have S-Pen support from various leaks in the past.

Galaxy S21 Ultra

The Galaxy S21 Ultra sports larger 6.8 inches WQHD+ LTPO AMOLED Infinity-O display with 120Hz refresh rates. The device comes variable refresh rate from 1Hz to 120Hz and peak brightness that reaches 1600 nits. Sadly, no word on RAM and storage option but we expect it to arrive with a minimum of 8GB RAM and 128GB storage option.

The new Galaxy S21 Ultra is indeed powered by Exynos 2100 SoC or the SD875 SoC which is as expected. The new Galaxy S21 Ultra features the same quad-rear camera as Galaxy S20 Ultra. The Galaxy S21 Ultra comes with 10MP telephoto lens with 10x optical zoom, 12MP ultra-wide, 10MP another telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and 108MP Gen2 main sensor with LED flash.

No word on selfie camera but we expect it to ship with same 10MP sensor from last year Galaxy S20 series. The Galaxy S21 Ultra will now have support for 4K video recording at 60fps, Super Steady mode at 60fps and also have 8K video recording at 30 fps. Galaxy S21 Ultra & Galaxy S21+ will get additional UWB feature with tag SmartThings.

The connectivity option includes USB Type-C port, Wifi 6E, Bluetooth 5.1, A-GPS, GLONASS, NFC, & in-display fingerprint scanner. The Galaxy S21 Ultra will have same 5000 mAh battery and runs on Android 11 OS with One UI 3.1 on top. The device will be available in Phantom Black and Phantom Silver colours.
