As per the report, the new Redmi 9i is none other than the recently launched Redmi 9A for global markets. Yes, Xiaomi is all set to rebrand the Redmi 9A as the Redmi 9i for India. The report also reveals the details of the Redmi 9i which will arrive in two variants with 4GB RAM + 64GB and a 4GB RAM + 128GB.
Further, the device will be available in three colour options with Sea Blue, Nature Green, and Midnight Black. With recent launches, we saw Xiaomi rebranding Redmi 9 as Redmi 9 Prime and Redmi 9C as Redmi 9 in India we can expect the Redmi 9A could launch as Redmi 9i for the Indian market.
As per the source, the Redmi 9i might be powered by MediaTek Helio G25 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage. It will sport 6.53 inches waterdrop IPS LCD display and no fingerprint scanner. There is a single 13MP rear camera with 5MP selfie shooter. It will pack 5000 mAh battery but with older micro USB port and slower 10W charging.
