Xiaomi finally launched its budget smartphones with Redmi 9A & Redmi 9C in Malaysia. The new Redmi 9A & Redmi 9C are the successor to Redmi 8A & Redmi 8A Plus. The new Redmi 9A will arrive in Granite Gray, Sky Blue and Peacock Green colours & Redmi 9C will arrive in Twilight Blue, Midnight Gray and Sunrise Orange colours.
The Redmi 9A will go on sale from July 7 & Redmi 9C last week of July in Malaysia. The Redmi 9A & Redmi 9C are priced at RM 359(Rs.6,400/-) & (Rs.7,600/-) RM 429 respectively.
The new Redmi 9A & Redmi 9C look identical from the front with waterfall display. The back of the device the Redmi 9A & Redmi 9C looks almost different. The Redmi 9A & Redmi 9C comes with a polycarbonate back. Redmi 9A & Redmi 9C sports 6.53 inches HD+ IPS LCD dot drop screen.
The Redmi 9A is powered by MediaTek Helio G25 & Redmi 9C with MediaTek Helio G35 SoC which is the latest budget gaming chipset. The Redmi 9A & Redmi 9C comes with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage with dedicated microSD card slot.
The Redmi 9A features 13MP f/2.2 single rear camera with LED flash. The Redmi 9C features triple rear cameras with main 13Mp f/2.2 aperture, 2MP depth and 2MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture with LED flash. On the front, the Redmi 9A & Redmi 9C features 5MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.2. Redmi 9A & Redmi 9C measures 9 mm thick and weighs over 194g.
The connectivity options include Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.0, Wifi, USB Type-C port, FM Radio and 3.5 mm audio jack. The Redmi 9C features a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. Redmi 9A & Redmi 9C packs 5000 mAh battery with 10W fast charging and runs on Android 10 with MIUI 11 on top.
