Previously we saw popular Analyst revealing the details about the new Galaxy Note 20 & Galaxy Note 20+. We even got various leaks suggesting the key specs of the new Galaxy Note 20 series. There were even rumours about the Galaxy Note 20 might come with the all-display front. Now the same source has just revealed one bad news for Galaxy Note 20 fans.
As per the source, Samsung might not ship the 120HBz refresh rate display on the base model aka Galaxy Note 20. Yes, the Galaxy Note 20 will use standard 60Hz refresh rate LTPS display which we saw on the Galaxy Note 10. This might disappoint few as the new Galaxy Note 20 series comes under the premium segment where we already have OnePlus 8 series with 120Hz refresh rates.
Further, the source confirmed that Galaxy Note 20+ will still have the new 120Hz LTPO display which previously leaked. The source also states that the display details which were leaked are confirmed by Samsung but we still have no official confirmation from the company for the same.
With just 60Hz refresh rate display on Galaxy Note 20, we might even see a drop from QHD+ to FHD+ resolution. This move might be to keep the prices of Galaxy Note 20 affordable to more users. Anyway, it’s too early to comment on this and we have to wait for a few more months to know more about the new Galaxy Note 20 series.
Further, the same source has just revealed the alleged Galaxy Fold Special Edition pricing details. Yes, you hear it right Samsung is planning to sell another variant of a foldable smartphone called Galaxy Fold Special Edition. The source revealed that Galaxy Fold Special Edition will be nothing but the original Galaxy Fold which is all set to launch later in July.
The reason for rebranding the Galaxy Fold is to sell away the lying stocks in the inventory. The source also revealed that Galaxy Fold Special Edition will be priced lower than the original at $1099 (Rs.82,800/-) in the US. There are almost 55K Galaxy Fold stock available in the inventory.
