Apple is all set to launch the iPhone 12 series later this year. Previously we got various reports revealing the new iPhone 12 series pricing details. We even got the renders showing the smaller notch on the new iPhone 12 series. Now we have a new set of leaks from a reliable source which reveals the pricing info of the upcoming iPhone 12 series.
As per the source, Apple is currently planning to update its pricing strategy for the new iPhone 12 series. The source reveals that one of the models under the new iPhone 12 series will have a slightly higher price than expected. Now, this leak is from the same source who revealed the iPhone SE launch details in the past.
Hence we can expect the leaks to be true and might get changed again as we are still six months to go for the official launch. As we know the cheapest device under the new iPhone 12 series is the 5.4 inches OLED display iPhone 12 which will sport Glass back with aluminium body. It features dual rear cameras with LED flash.
The iPhone 12 with 5.4 inches display will be powered by the latest A14 SoC and comes with standard 60Hz refresh rates. As per the source, the device will cost $649 (Rs.48,900/-) in the US.
The slightly larger variant of iPhone 12 with 6.1 inches OLED display having a smaller notch and 5G support. It comes with Apple A14 SoC along with similar design as the cheaper iPhone 12 and dual rear cameras. The iPhone 12 with 6.1 inches pricing will start from $749 (Rs.56,400/-) in the US. So basically the 6.1 inch iPhone 12 is the model which got price hike when compared with $699 on the iPhone 11.
The next is the new iPhone 12 Pro which will arrive with lower 5.8 inches OLED display with a smaller notch and 5G support. It will also feature quad-rear cameras which also includes the LIDAR sensor. The source revealed that the iPhone 12 Pro will ship with 120Hz refresh rate display. As expected, the iPhone 12 Pro will be priced similar to the predecessor with $999 (Rs.75,200/-) in the US.
Lastly, the top-end smartphone with iPhone 12 Pro Max which will have the same internals as the iPhone 12 Pro but with higher 6.7 inches OLED display. The iPhone 12 Pro Max will also pack a larger battery and will have a starting price of $1099 (Rs.82,700/-) in the US.
Whereas the source also revealed the European prices of the new iPhone 12 series. As per the post, the new iPhone 12 Pro Max will be priced €1,149/1,159 (Rs.94,100/- to Rs.94,800/-) whereas the iPhone 12 Pro at €1,049/1,059 (Rs.85,900/- to Rs.86,700/-), iPhone 12 6.1 inches at €849/859 (Rs.69,500/- to Rs.70,300/-) and cheapest iPhone 12 at €749/759 (Rs.61,300/- to Rs.62,100/-)
