Previously we saw various leaks popping up online like the alleged renders based on leaks and some of the specs of the new iPhone 12 series. Now we have some new set of leaks coming which confirms that Apple might delay the launch of the iPhone 12 series.
As per the report, the new iPhone 12 series might get delayed further due to production which led to a halt in China. Further, Foxconn is unable to manage the delay caused due to COVID 19 outbreak. The report claim that iPhone 12 series will include not three but four iPhones in different screen sizes.
The source also said that China has put travel bans due to COVID19 outbreak in the country which will not allow Apple employees to travel to China. Apart from that, the new 5G mmWave chip has also redesigned earlier this month which might further delay the launch of iPhone 12 series. Still, it is not confirmed whether the new iPhone 12 series will ever have mmWave support or not.
The report also claims that the 6.1 inches and 5.4 inches iPhone 12 series will go under mass production from Sept whereas the top-model with 6.7 inches might be pushed to mass production in the month of Oct. Lastly, Apple has decided to push the iPhone SE Plus launch to early-2021.
