LG previously revealed that they are ditching the G-series for all new LG Velvet series which will be placed under a premium mid-range segment. Now LG has officially teased the new LG Velvet by unveiling the specs and design of the device through a video.
As per the video, the new LG Velvet looks strikingly similar to previously leaked renders with an all-new design. On the front, the new LG Velvet will sport waterdrop display with thinner bezels. On the back, the new LG Velvet comes with raindrop design featuring triple rear cameras with LED flash.
On the right, the new LG Velvet has a power button and on the left with the volume rocker and additional Google assistant key. The new LG Velvet comes with a glossy glass back with gradient design and metal chamfered edges with antenna bands running both on top and bottom of the device. On the bottom, we have got the USB Type-C port with 3.5 mm audio jack and speaker mesh whereas SIM tray and mic on the top.
The new LG Velvet will ship with an in-display fingerprint scanner. Further, LG also revealed the chipset powering the device. As per the video, the new LG Velvet will indeed arrive with SD756G SoC with 5G support. Further, the device will arrive in four colours with Aurora White, Velvet Sunset, Aurora Green, Aurora Grey. Apart from this nothing much about the new LG Velvet is revealed.
