Motorola officially launched the very first foldable smartphone in the form of flip-phone with Motorola Razr in the US. We almost like the compact form-factor of the new Motorola Razr and that makes another brand to make the similar-looking device.
Yes, none other than Chinese brand Xiaomi has now filed few patents with China National Intellectual Property Administration that shows the upcoming clamshell design foldable phone. The patents were filed sometime back in Aug 2018 but the images were leaked now. The design looks almost similar to Motorola Razr with flip-phone like form factor.
When folded the device has square form-factor and comes with a small rectangular display on the front and on the back we have got Dual rear cameras with LED flash. When unfolded we have got a larger display with top-bezel carrying the selfie shooter along with the earpiece. Sadly, we are still not sure whether Xiaomi will ever launch such device as its just an patent.
