Earlier this year we saw brands like Samsung and Huawei already launching the future of smartphone with foldable smartphones. Now we have the third brand launching its very first foldable phone with the Motorola Razr. The new Motorola Razr comes in a single colour with Noir Black having Kelvar like texture.
The new Motorola Razr is priced at $1499 (Rs.1,08,230/-) in the US and will be exclusive to Verizon. The new Motorola Razr will go on sale from Jan 9 in the US and Motorola has already started taking the interest for the phone on their Indian website. So we can expect the Motorola Razr might launch soon in India.
The Motorola Razr is basically a flip-phone using a flexible OLED display that closes completely in half, thanks to hinge mechanism that allows the phone to close with both sides perfectly flush. The device also features secondary touchscreen Quick View external display that helps to reply to notifications, start Google Assistant and even take selfies.
Motorola Razr comes with 6.2 inches (2142 x 876p) 21:9 Cinemavision foldable pOLED screen along with external 2.7-inch (600 x 800 pixels) 4:3 gOLED screen and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top. The Motorola Razr is powered by outdated SD710 SoC coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The device measures 6.9 mm thick when unfolded and 14 mm thick when folded. It weighs 204 grams.
The new Motorola Razr features single rear camera with 16MP Sony IMX519 sensor with an aperture of f/1.7, EIS, Dual Pixel AF, Laser AF and LED flash. The device also comes with 5Mp selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture. Motorola Razr also has Splash-proof with water-resistant nanocoating.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Dual Band Wifi, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C port, NFC, and fingerprint scanner. The device packs 2150 mAh battery with 15W fast charging support. The Motorola Razr runs on Android 9 Pie out of the box.
