Earlier Jio launched new plans which offered free minutes to non-Jio users probably smartphone users. Now the company has updated the plans for the JioPhone users with more data and free 500 minutes calling to non-Jio users.
Earlier JioPhone recharge used to start as low as Rs.49 which offered 1GB data along with unlimited calls and 100 SMS/day for 28 days. Now Jio has probably hiked the plan prices post IUC charges which now starts at Rs.75/- which go up to Rs.185/- for 28 days. All the plans do come with 500 minutes of free calls to non-Jio users.
Apart from that, Jio to Jio calls will be unlimited along with 100 SMS/day. The lowest Rs.75/- pack comes with 100MB 4G data per day that converts 3GB data per month, Rs.125/- with 500MB per day which converts 14GB data per month, Rs.155/- with 1GB data per day which converts to 28GB per month and finally the Rs.185/- with 2GB/day converts to 56GB data per month.
All the old plans will still be valid but one has to do Rs.10/- additional recharge which offers 124 minutes free calls along with a base pack of Rs.49/-.
