Earlier we saw Reliance Jio making a bold step of charging 6p/min for non-Jio numbers like Airtel, Idea and Vodafone. Further, Jio also unveiled the traditional recharge packets right from Rs.10 to Rs.100/- with unlimited validity. Now the company has updated its monthly, bi-monthly and yearly plans.
The new plans start from Rs.222/- for 28 days, Rs.333/- for 56 days and Rs.444/- for 84 days. All of them will bundle 2GB/day 4G data along with unlimited calls to Jio users and 100 SMS/day. In addition to this Jio is also bundling 1000 minutes of calls to non-Jio numbers.
Further, we also have plans for Rs.555/- which will offer 2GB data per day for 84 days but with 3000 minutes of free calls to non-Jio users. Anyway, the IUC charges might come to end by end of Jan 2020 but due to many carriers are still on 2G so it might get some extension.
