Looks like the rumor which popular tipster shared last night turns out to be fake after all. Yes, the tipster revealed that due to chip shortages Google decided to ditch the new Pixel 5a 5G this year. Not only this the tipster also shared that the Pixel 4a and Pixel 4a 5G will be selling the whole year.
Just after few hours, Google has confirmed the leak to be fake as per the latest reports by 9To5Google. As per the source, Google revealed that they will surely launch the new Pixel 5a 5G later this year. Further, the new Pixel 5a 5G will be launching in the US and Japan at the same time as Pixel 4a, so it might launch sometime in Aug.
Sadly, still, Google has not confirmed that there will be two devices of the Pixel 5a series or just the 5G variant at the moment. So this year to Google may not launch the Pixel 5a 5G in India. As of now, there is no word about the Pixel 6 series.
