Previously we got leaks revealing Google planning to introduce budget 5G phone with the new Pixel 4a 5G. We even got confirmation about the next flagship the Pixel 5 series which will arrive sometime in Oct. Now ahead of the Pixel 4a launch we have some good news for those waiting for the budget 5G phone from Google.
As per the source, the alleged Pixel 4a 5G & Pixel 5a are been spotted on AOSP ROM. With Google extending its Work from Home policy to all of its employees we might expect a delay in the development of new devices due to this. As per the listing, the Pixel 4a 5G & Pixel 5a are running on Android 11 out of the box.
Google has not yet announced the stable version of Android 11 yet we can expect the Pixel 4a 5G will not launch anytime sooner than late Sept this year. Whereas the Pixel 5a will not arrive anytime sooner than May 2021. Further, the source also confirms that Pixel 5a will still use Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset whereas the Pixel 6 series might use custom made chipset. The Pixel 4a 5G is expected to ship with SD765G SoC with 5G modem.
