Yup, Qualcomm is back in news again now with its next flagship chipset after the successful SD888 SoC. Previously we had reports about Qualcomm budget flagship without 5G modem in works. Later we even saw Qualcomm going on announcing a much cheaper flagship chipset with SD870 and the upcoming SD860 SoC.
Now the tipster has just found out the early leaks revealing the details of the upcoming flagship chipset from Qualcomm. As per the source, the next flagship chipset from Qualcomm is codenamed Waipio which comes with the model SM8450 SoC. Do note that Waipio is again a Valley named in Hawaii.
Further, the tipster also gave us interesting details that the next SD8450 SoC might come with a LEICA1 imaging module. So is Qualcomm joining hands with LEICA to improve the imaging system with the next flagship? we have to wait and watch as its almost a year to go for the official announcement. After SD888 SoC Samsung will again manufacture the next flagship SM8450 SoC too.
