As the days coming to end the most unlucky year for everyone with 2020 and almost a few days left for 2021. We have seen leaks popping out every next day for the next year’s flagship details. Previously we saw the Samsung flagship series aka Galaxy S21 series detailed specs getting leaked way ahead of the official announcement. Now we have something from Sony too with its first flagship for 2021 aka the Xperia 1 III.
As per the popular tipster, Sony will launch its successor to Xperia 1 II with the new Xperia 1 III next year. The new Xperia 1 III will sport a massive 6.5 inches 4K HDR OLED display this time. The display is 15% brighter than the predecessor as per the tipster. Further, the Xperia 1 III will indeed ship with powerful SD888 SoC coupled with 8GB RAM & 256GB storage.
Yet again the Xperia 1 III will feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner which is disappointing as we expected an in-display one. The new Xperia 1 III will still carry the IP65/IP68 rating making it dust and water-resistant. All this will set you back at the price tag of a whopping $1199 (Rs.88,300/-).
Sadly, the tipster has not revealed any details about the cameras on the new Xperia 1 III and one have to wait longer to know more.
