Previously we saw few leaks about Samsung plans to launch Galaxy S21 series with its new 108MP camera sensor. Later we even got reports about Samsung working on a high resolution sensor for its future devices. Now we got confirmation with new reports revealing that it could be the 600MP camera sensor.
As per the source, they have got the official presentation slide from one of the internal documents of Samsung. From the slide, we can see that Samsung being already developing a whopping 600MP camera sensor for smartphones next. The document also provide some key specs of the upcoming ISOCELL 600MP camera sensor.
With rise in 4K and 8K video recording on smartphones Samsung plans to introduce a higher 600MP camera sensor. Not just that the company also states that with higher resolution camera one can achieve better zooming capabilities. The report also states that Samsung ISOCELL 600MP camera sensor will not come anytime soon as they have to solve the camera bump issue.
With the sensor size of 1/0.57″ big sensor would take almost 12% of the device back and will even protrude out by 22 mm.
