Previously we saw various leaks suggesting Samsung upcoming 192MP camera sensor. Last year Samsung breaks the camera resolution with all-new 64MP and 108MP camera sensor. Now we have an official statement coming in which reveal that something big and unexpected camera coming soon.
As per the source, Samsung is planning to introduce the World’s first 600MP camera sensor. Yes, you heard it right whopping 600MP camera sensor soon. The new confirmation was made through a blog post by Yongin Park, Head of Sensor Business Team Samsung. The post revealed they are developing a camera sensor which will deliver more details than the human eye with 600MP.
As per the post, Human eye comes with a resolution of 500MP and Samsung goes beyond it with 600MP sensor. Further, the company has not yet announced when exactly the new 600MP sensor will be out but confirmed that it would launch with a smartphone. Anyway, the new 600MP might probably take a lot of space on the device and needs to come with a lower pixel size to fit easily on the smartphone. Anyway, we could expect the 600MP camera sensor might go official by the end of this year if all goes well.
