The wait for the affordable flagship aka the Zenfone 7 series is over as Asus officially reveals the launch date. Previously we had got few reports about Asus planning to introduce two new flagships with Asus Zenfone 7 & Zenfone 7 Pro.
We even got the key specs of the Asus Zenfone 7 & Asus Zenfone 7 Pro which will be using the SD865 SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM. Now Asus has officially teased the new Asus Zenfone 7 series along with launch date. As per the source, Asus has now scheduled the next launch event for the new Asus Zenfone 7 series on Weibo.
The new Asus Zenfone 7 series is all set to land in Taiwan on Aug 26 through the online-only event. Apart from the launch details, nothing much about the device. The new Asus Zenfone 7 might again ship with rotating cameras similar to the predecessor. More details about the Asus Zenfone 7 will surface online in coming days.
Further, we have now spotted the alleged Asus Zenfone 7 on Geekbench again. As per the listing, the Asus Zenfone 7 is listed as ASUS_I002D which is running on Android 10 OS out of the box. The new Asus Zenfone 7 is indeed powered by SD865 SoC coupled with 8GB RAM.
