With Asus all set to launch the next gaming phone aka ASUS ROG Phone III we now have another flagship on the way with Zenfone 7 series.
As per the source, the new Zenfone 7 series will have two models this time with Zenfone 7 & Zenfone 7 Pro. Yes, the source has managed to dig up the kernel which mentions two codenames with Asus ZF. The new Kernel sources clearly reveal two different clock speed of the same chipset.
Yes, the base Zenfone 7 might be using standard 2.84 GHz clocked SD865 SoC whereas the second aka Zenfone 7 Pro with 3.08 GHz clocked SD865+ SoC. With the mention of ZF on the Kernel might stand for the Zenfone branding. Anyway, more details will be popping up in the coming weeks.
