Previously we saw LG unveiling the premium mid-range smartphone with LG Velvet 5G with SD765G in Japan. Later we saw LG started rolling out to countries like the US and Europe and also introduce the 4G variant of the LG Velvet. Now probably we have found out the third variant of LG Velvet 5G on Google Play Console.
As per the source, the device is listed as Velvet which is running on Android 10 OS out of the box. Now the surprising fact is that LG Velvet 5G is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 800 SoC this time. Yes, LG is shipping the device with Dimensity 800 SoC but will also bring down the price considerably. It sports FHD+ display probably the same 6.9 inches screen size.
The new LG Velvet 5G is coupled with 6GB RAM when compared with 8GB on the original. The new LG Velvet 5G with Dimensity 800 SoC might be launched in competitive markets like China or India in the coming weeks. Anyway apart from this nothing much about the device is revealed.
We expect all other specs remains the same as the original LG Velvet 5G.
