Earlier we saw Google announcing the new Android 10 last month which has been already under Beta testing for various brands like OnePlus, Huawei, Xiaomi etc. Now Nokia turns out to be the first to officially push out the stable Android 10 update to Nokia 8.1.
Nokia CFO Juho Sarvikas took Twitter to announce that Nokia 8.1 starts receiving the new Android 10 update. The new Android 10 update will also bring the latest Sept 2019 security patch. The new OTA update will add features like Smart Reply, new gesture navigation, Dark mode, Focus mode and Family Link.
Do check your Nokia 8.1 under setting panels of the About the device for the new Android 10 update. Currently, the release is limited to few devices and will be pushed to large numbers in coming days. The OTA update weighs around 1.5GB in size.
