Earlier we saw Oppo announcing the pop-up selfie shooter with Oppo F11 Pro. We saw brands like Samsung and Asus launching their first ever rotating and sliding camera phone with Galaxy A80 & Asus Zenfone 6. Now we have Oppo which is working on a similar rotating camera phone.
As per the patents, we can see the sketches showing the alleged Oppo rotating camera phone which looks exactly similar to the Asus Zenfone 6 rotating camera mechanism. The only change we saw with Oppo’s phone is it comes equipped with cameras on both sides.
So one can use the rear camera to take a selfie and a single camera on the back or either way which is unique. Both the cameras work simultaneously without any issues. As its just a patent we are still not sure if Oppo will ever launch such a smartphone in the future.
