Earlier we saw Meizu taking the lead and announcing the World’s first buttonless and holeless phone with Meizu Zero. Now we have the second phone from Vivo with Vivo APEX 2019 launched in China. The new Vivo APEX 2019 will come in White, Gray and Black colors. As it is concept phone Vivo might take the new design and launch it with upcoming NEX smartphone later this year.
The new Vivo APEX 2019 is another device with no button nor ports similar to Meizu Zero which heavily relies on wireless technology. The new Vivo APEX 2019 comes with curved glass back and features all-display front without notch nor hole. We are still not sure whether the device will feature selfie camera as it is been not yet revealed by the company.
But we expect the device might arrive with Vivo NEX like pop-up selfie camera. The Vivo APEX 2019 comes with a pressure sensitive volume and power buttons and will nor have USB Port instead it is replaced by a magnetic port on the back which connects cover for charging and data transfer. The device will also feature Sound on display feature similar to Meizu Zero.
The new Vivo APEX 2019 sports 6.39 inches FHD+ AMOLED display which also features full-screen fingerprint support. The new Vivo APEX 2019 is powered by SD855 SoC coupled with whopping 12GB RAM and 256GB/512GB internal storage. The device comes with eSIM which has support for 5G networks. On the back, the Vivo APEX 2019 features 12MP+13MP dual rear cameras.
