Earlier Nokia had announced the Global launch event at Dubai which is scheduled on Dec 5. Nokia didn’t reveal any details about the product but we had got few rumors about Nokia might unveil the Nokia 8.1 along with Nokia 9 Pureview.
Today, we finally have the press renders of the new Nokia 8.1 leaked online. Earlier we had few rumors about Nokia planning to rebrand the Nokia X7 which launched in China as Nokia 8.1 and we also spotted the device in various benchmarks. Finally, the new press renders confirms that the new Nokia 8.1 is none other than the global variant of the Nokia X7.
The new Nokia 8.1 will come with the same internals as the original Nokia X7 which is powered by the SD710 SoC and is also the cheapest smartphone in China with that chip. So we are just left with pricing details for the new Nokia 8.1 which will be announced on Dec 5.
