Apple is all set to launch the three new iPhones on Sept 12 in Cupertino. With just a few days remaining for the official launch, we now got the expected name for the cheaper variant of iPhone aka 6.1 inches LCD display variant as iPhone XC.
Earlier we had few rumours about a successor to iPhone X to be called as iPhone XS, now as per the source, the cheaper variant with 6.1 inches LCD display iPhone will be called as iPhone XC. Sounds like Apple is launching the successor to iPhone 5C with iPhone XC where C stands for colours and not Cheap.
The source has also leaked the renders along with specs of the upcoming iPhone XC. As per the source, the new iPhone XC will take inspiration from iPhone 5C and will come in funky colours like Red, Blue, Orange, Grey and White. This time the device will move from polycarbonate to Aluminium and glass back.
The iPhone XC will feature 6.1 inches LCD display and will be powered by the latest Apple A12 chipset which is made by TSMC and comes with 7nm node. It is coupled with 3GB RAM and 64GB/256GB storage options. Do note that as it is low-cost iPhone it will arrive with the single rear camera.
