Apple is all set to unveil three new iPhones this year and we are still clueless about the exact name. Apple is now sending media invites across the globe for the Apple Special Event.
As per the invite, Apple clearly mentions Apple Special Event 2018 which is scheduled at the same place as Steve Jobs Theater at Cupertino on Sept 12 at 10 AM PDT. Last year too Apple unveiled their smartphones on the same date and we can expect devices will go on pre-orders from Sept 13 in the US.
We are still not sure whether Apple will also unveil the new iPad Pro and iPad lineup in the event. Anyway, we also got the official press renders showing the new 4th Gen Apple Watch with larger display leaked. As per the image, the Apple Watch Series 4 looks similar to the predecessor and will have same width and length.
This time the Apple Watch Series 4 will arrive with a 15% larger display with thinner bezels when compared with Apple Watch Series 3. It will also include new watch faces and presence of additional hole beside the Digital Crown which act as an additional microphone.
We also got the press renders showing the upcoming iPhone XS along with 6.5 inches iPhone which might be called iPhone X Plus or iPhone XS Plus. Anyway, as per 9to5Mac the successor to iPhone X with 5.8 inches display will be called as iPhone XS.
The new iPhone XS and larger iPhone XS Plus will arrive with a bezel-less display with a notch similar to iPhone X. Both the devices will feature a glass back along with AMOLED display and almost similar specs. Both the iPhones will be powered by latest Apple A12 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB/256GB/512GB storage options. Both the iPhones will be available in Gold colour as per the source.
