Google announced the new iteration of Android with Android 9 Pie earlier last week and we saw many brands like Sony and Vivo has already confirmed that they will be providing the new update soon. Now we have another brand HTC has promised to update the device to latest Android 9 Pie.
HTC shared the list of devices getting the new Android 9 Pie on Twitter. As per the tweet, HTC will support the new Android 9 Pie to HTC U12+, HTC U11, HTC U11+, and HTC U11 Life. Sadly, HTC will not support the new mid-range smartphone HTC Desire 12 which was recently launched in India.
Sounds like HTC will only support the premium flagship devices for the latest Android 9 Pie update and may later provide the update to the mid-range segment. Sadly, HTC didn’t share the exact date when the device will get the Android 9 Pie update.
