Oppo has unveiled another smartphone with Oppo A5 under the mid-range segment. Earlier we had got the detailed specs leaks with renders and today finally the device is official. The Oppo A5 is up on pre-orders until 13 July and is priced at 1500 Yuan (Rs.15,550/-) in China. The Oppo A5 comes in two colors with Blue and Pink colors.
The Oppo A5 looks similar to Oppo F7 in terms of design and features Diamond finish back which we also saw on RealMe 1. It weighs around 168 grams and is 8.2 mm thick.
The Oppo A5 sports 6.2 inches HD+ (1520*720p) LCD display with an aspect ratio of 19:9 and features notch which carries the selfie camera along with earpiece and sensor. The Oppo A5 is powered by SD450 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage which can be expanded via microSD card upto 256GB.
The new Oppo A5 features Dual rear cameras with 13MP+2MP having an aperture of f/2.2+f/2.4 whereas the secondary camera act as the depth sensor. There is 8MP selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.2 which also comes with Face unlock feature and no fingerprint scanner.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Wifi, Bluetooth 4.2, A-GPS, GLONASS, micro USB port, and 3.5 mm audio port. All this is fueled by large 4230 mAh battery and runs on Android 8.1 with Color OS 5.1 on top.
