Oppo is all set to launch another device with Oppo A5 under the mid-range segment which will again come with iPhone X like a display notch. Oppo had earlier launched the Oppo A3 in China which was rebranded as RealMe 1 with a similar design in India and now we have another smartphone under A-series with Oppo A5 spotted online.
As per the source, the upcoming Oppo A5 has the almost same internals as the Oppo A3 but with all new design and similar diamond cut finish on the back. As per the source, the Oppo A5 is having a dimension of 156.2 × 75.6 × 8.2mm. It will come with a bezel-less display with an infamous notch above it which carries selfie camera along with earpiece and sensors.
The only change with Oppo A3 and Oppo A5 is the dual rear camera with LED flash on the latter. As per the source, the Oppo A5 will sport 6.2 inches HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 19:9 having a resolution of 720*1520p. It will be powered by SD450 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM & 64GB internal storage which can be expanded via microSD card slot. For few markets, Oppo might launch the Oppo A5 with MediaTek chipset.
The Oppo A5 features 13MP primary and 2MP secondary sensor along with 8MP selfie sensor. Once again the new Oppo A5 will ditch the fingerprint scanner for the in-secure Facial recognition. The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 4G LTE, Wifi, Bluetooth, A-GPS, GLONASS, micro USB port and 3.5 mm audio port.
All this is fueled with larger 4230 mAh battery and runs on Android 8.1 with Color OS on top. The new Oppo A5 will come in Mirror Blue and Rose Gold options.
