Asus is now all set to launch its very first low-cost smartphone with Android Go OS.Google launched the Android Go OS for low memory devices under budget segments in late December.After Nokia and Micromax now it is Asus chance to enter the Android Go race.
Now we have spotted a new device listed as Asus X00RD on GeekBench.As per the listing, theĀ Asus X00RD sports HD display with a resolution of 1280*800p.It is powered by the Qualcomm MSM8917 which is the SD425 SoC clocked at 1.4GHz coupled with 1GB RAM.
The device is running on Android 8.1 which is based on Android Go OS.The device has got a score of 640 under single core test and 1664 under multi-core test which is not so impressive as it is a budget smartphone with average specs.
It might be the successor to the Asus Zenfone Go and might be named as Asus Zenfone Go (2018).As of now, it is too early to comment about the device and it might be unveiled later next week at MWC 2018.
