Asus had launched the Redmi Note 5 Pro killer the ASUS Zenfone Max Pro M1 in India earlier this year at a killer price of Rs.10,990/- for the base variant. Asus had also promised to be launching the 6GB variant of the ASUS Zenfone Max Pro M1 soon and it is finally here.
Now, Asus has finally launched the ASUS Zenfone Max Pro M1 with whopping 6GB RAM and 64GB storage option along with new 16MP (f/2.2) selfie camera & 16MP+5MP (f/2.2) rear cameras at price tag of Rs.14,999/- which is seriously lower than the Redmi Note 5 Pro.
The ASUS Zenfone Max Pro M1 6GB variant will go on sale from July 26 at 12:00 PM exclusively via Flipkart. Apart from the RAM and cameras, all other specs of the device remain the same.
Asus new budget smartphone the ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M1 gives tough competition to the likes of Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro which is priced comparatively higher. The ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M1 features all-metal body and will be available in Deepsea Black & Gray colors. It weighs 180 grams and is 8.46 mm thick.
ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M1 sports 5.99 inches Full View FHD+(2160 x 1080) IPS display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and covered with 2.5D curved glass on top. It is powered by SD636 SoC based on 14nm process coupled with 6GB RAM with 64GB internal storage which can be expanded via dedicated microSD card slot up to 2TB.
It features Dual cameras on the back which are aligned vertically. The main sensor is of 16MP with a wide-aperture of f/2.2 and LED flash whereas the secondary 5MP rear camera is a dedicated depth-sensing camera for more accurate bokeh effect in portraits and close-ups, putting the subject in sharp focus while progressively blurring the background for a gentle yet powerful effect that really makes the subject stand out. There is a 16MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.2 with Face Unlock feature.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 4G LTE and VoLTE with dual 4G + 4G standby, Dual Band Wifi, Bluetooth 4.2 with aptX support, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS, fingerprint scanner, 3.5 mm audio port, and micro USB port. It also features NXP Smart amplifier to lower distortion and enhance higher volume and comes with MaxBox for louder sound.
All this is fueled by mammoth 5000 mAh battery with fast charging support and can charge its 5000mAh battery from 0% to 100% in just 2 hours and 42 minutes, compared to some rival products with a 4000mAh battery that need well over 3 hours. The device runs on a stock version of Android 8.1.
