According to the reports from ET, HTC has now plan to quit the Indian markets. With struggling in the many markets including India for quite a few years HTC has now decided to exit from India.
ET further states that top management staff from HTC with Faisal Siddiqui, sales head Vijay Balachandran and product head R Nayyar has already put their papers down. HTC is also forcing their staff to leave the company and has also stopped distribution agreements.
HTC will only support for sales and services VR devices in India with HTC VIVE & VIVE PRO from HTC Taiwan. But as per one employee further, claim that HTC will be back in some time but will be an online exclusive brand.
So HTC fans, it is really a bad news for you guys as HTC will no longer launch their products in India and their last smartphone will be the HTC Desire 12 & HTC Desire 12+ which didn’t help HTC to gain back the lost popularity.
