Xiaomi rolled the latest MIUI 8.2 in Feb 2017 & now it is busy with the upcoming MIUI 9 which might be announced anytime soon.Xiaomi accidentally sent out the email to the App developers about bringing the Split Screen mode and Picture in Picture.
As per the news, all Xiaomi phone might get Android 7 update with MIUI 9 and Xiaomi is even testing MIUI 9 on Android Marshmallow devices too.
The MIUI 9 is expected to arrive second half of this year.
