We all were waiting for the official Android Oreo update for some newer and older devices from past few months. Chinese companies are very slow in pushing out the official Android Oreo update we have a good news coming in from India’s top mobile brand Xiaomi who has now announced the bestseller Redmi Note 5 Pro will be updated to Android Oreo starting from June 29.
Xiaomi officially announced the news on official MIUI India page on Twitter about the Android Oreo update for Redmi Note 5 Pro which will also update the Android O based MIUI 9.5 starting from June 29. Anyway, till date, the device was stuck with outdated Android 7.1.2.
As per Xiaomi, the first batch of devices will start getting the update from June 29 and will arrive in batches don’t worry if you are not one of the customers of the first batch as the update will hit in later stages for sure.
