Samsung has already began making the Galaxy S9 as per earlier leaks and had codenamed as Star. Now as per reports Samsung is developing a new AMOLED Touch display with different materials to those used on S8 and S8+.
As per reports there is no details of exact generation of the new AMOLED display.The new tech of AMOLED display is having codename as Sunflower.As we all know the S8 duo highest selling point was its infinity display with aspect ratio of 18.5:9. But the display had issues like reddish tint due to colour calibration error and was patched via an OTA update later.So it might get improved with this latest AMOLED display what Samsung is developing for Samsung Galaxy S9.We might see the similar kind of bezel less display with S9 too with an additional fingerprint scanner built within the display.
Apart from that the Samsung Galaxy S9 will be powered by SD 845 for US and Exynos variants for other markets.As of now there are no more details of the upcoming 2018 flagship Samsung galaxy S9 aka Star.In coming months we might see some more details of the upcoming flagship.
