Xiaomi is all set to launch their next big smartphone the Xiaomi Mi 8 later next week in China. Earlier we had got the live images of the device with specs leaked. Today, we have another specs sheet leaked which shares some of the details of the upcoming Mi 8.
As per the leaks, the Xiaomi Mi 8 will now sport larger 6.2 inches FHD+ IPS LCD display with a resolution of 2280 x 1080 which might be another variant or Plus variant of Mi 8. It will be powered by SD845 SoC coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.
The Mi 8 will feature 16MP selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.0 and 20MP+16MP dual rear camera with an aperture of f/2.0+f/1.7. All this is fueled by 3000 mAh battery and runs on latest Android 8.1. It will weigh 172 grams and will be 7.8 mm thick.
Apart from that, Xiaomi has now opened registration for the next iteration of MIUI with MIUI 10 closed Beta. Earlier Xiaomi teased that the MIUI 10 will be launching along with Mi 8 on 31 May.
Today, they have started registration for the closed beta MIUI 10 in China. If you want to be part of the new beta update then the eligible users have to register for it so that you will be receiving the MIUI 10 Beta update first after the announcement on 31 May.
The list of eligible devices includes Mi Mix, Mi Mix 2, Mi Mix 2S, Mi 6 and Redmi Note 5.
