BlackBerry is alls et to launch another keypad based smartphone with BlackBerry Athena later this year.We have spotted the codenamed Athena earlier which was rumored to feature QWERTY keypad.Today, we have got the renders of the alleged BlackBerry Athena leaked.
As per the leaked renders, the BlackBerry Athena looks similar to last year launched BlackBerry KEYone.Now the BlackBerry Athena comes with almost similar design as KEYone but with sharper edges and rectangular shaped.On the front, we have the display with navigation key below the display and earpiece, a sensor with selfie camera above the display.At the bottom of the display, we have the traditional BlackBerry QWERTY keypad.
The device comes with the textured back probably made out of rubber.The BlackBerry Athena features horizontally aligned Dual rear cameras with Dual Tone Dual LED flash beside it and BlackBerry logo below the camera module.On the bottom of the device, we have the USB Type-C port with speaker mesh and opening for the mic whereas on the top we have the 3.5 mm audio port with a secondary mic.
On the right, we have the Volume rockers, Power button and ‘convenience’ key and on the left, we have the SIM Tray.As of now, there are no details about the specification of the upcoming BlackBerry Athena been leaked.
