Jio has already set the market on fire by launching the cheapest 4G enable feature phone with JioPhone last week. JioPhone will be available for free of cost but one has to pay Rs.1500/- as security deposit which Jio will refund it after completing 3 years.
Now Jio is already allowing users to enter their details on their website which will provide them to get updates regarding the JioPhone ahead of August 15 beta testing phase.As per Jio website it has mentioned “JioPhone will be made by the third party and marketed by Reliance Retail. Jio is only bundling its services with the phone. Customers who will register their interest will get an update about JioPhone booking, availability”.
Reliance Jio upcoming JioPhone will have 2.4 inches display, will come with 4G VoLTE support and also comes with LED torch, FM Radio and Wifi hotspot functionality based on the SoC used.It will also come preloaded with Jio Apps, Mann ki Baat and Facebook.You can even cast the content on any of TV with help of separate cable which one has to purchase it separately and also have to do a recharge of Rs.309 for this which will offer 1GB 4G data.Jio has already launched a separate plan for JioPhone which will cost Rs.154 and will provide unlimited calling and unlimited data but only up to 500 MB of 4G data per day.JioPhone is expected to come in two different SoC one with Qualcomm and other with Spreadtrum.
