The Galaxy S25 Edge will be Samsung’s slender flagship later this year. In addition, Samsung announced the Galaxy M56, the slimmest phone in its segment.

Samsung Galaxy M56:

The Galaxy M56 5G sports a larger 6.73-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED+ display with 120Hz refresh rates. It has side-mounted fingerprint scanner support with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+. The Exynos 1480 Soc powers the Galaxy M56 5G, which is coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM and a 128GB/256GB storage option. There is also an option to expand the memory through a microSD card slot.

The new Galaxy M56 5G will feature triple-rear cameras: a 50MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture and OIS, an 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture and LED flash. The device also has a 12MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.2. With features like Nightography, Dual recording, and OIS and VDIS, you can record stable videos in 4K.

 

The Galaxy M56 5G will ship with the larger 5000 mAh battery but with 45W fast charge support. The device weighs just 180g & measures 7.2mm thick.

The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 5G, Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Wifi 6.0, A-GPS, NFC, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.2, USB Type-C port, FM Radio, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Samsung Galaxy M56 5G runs on Android 15 with One UI 7. There will be six generations of operating system updates and five years of security updates.

The Samsung Galaxy M56 comes in Black and Light Green.

Pricing:

In India, the Galaxy M56 5G is priced at Rs. 27,999/—for 8GB + 128 GB. The pricing of the 8+256GB and 12+256GB has not been revealed.
