Qualcomm is expected to unveil the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chip in October this year. The Realme GT 8 Pro may also debut around the same time in China. Tipster Digital Chat Station has seemingly revealed the GT 8 Pro’s key specifications in a new Weibo post.

According to the tipster, Realme’s Snapdragon 8 Elite 2-powered smartphone, which appears to be the Realme GT 8 Pro, has a flat OLED screen with 2K resolution. The GT 8 Pro will be similar to its predecessor, with an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor.

The tipster mentioned that the device would have a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera on the rear, a metal middle frame, and support 100w charging. In terms of its battery, the tipster revealed that it will have a capacity of at least 7,000mAh.

Realme GT 7 Pro:

The new Realme GT 7 Pro will sport a massive 6.78-inch 1.5K(2780 x 1264p) Samsung Eco² OLED Plus 8T LTPO display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It also gets crystal-armour glass protection and HDR10+ support. It also comes with a massive 6000 nits of peak brightness, a 2600Hz instant touch sampling rate, and Dolby Vision.

Realme GT 7 Pro is powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC coupled with 12GB/16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB/512GBUFS 4.0 storage.

On the back, the Realme GT 7 Pro will ship with triple rear cameras: a 50MP main Sony IMX906 sensor with f/1.8 aperture and Super OIS, an 8MP IMX355 112° ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50MP periscopic lens with 3x optical zoom. The Realme GT 7 Pro also comes with the same old 16MP selfie camera. It has a 6500 mAh battery with 120W fast charging. It runs on Android 15 with ColorOS 15 on top.

The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE support, 5G Dual Mode (SA/NSA) support, an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, Wi-Fi 7, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, a USB Type-C port, and 1216 linear Speakers, Dolby Atmos, and Hi-Res Audio certification. It is also IP68/69 certified, making it dust—and water-resistant.
