With the upcoming Nord CE 5, codenamed Honda, OnePlus is revamping its mid-range Nord lineup. The phone’s battery capacity is expected to be 7,100mAh, a significant leap from the Nord CE 4’s 5,500 mAh. This leak positions the CE 5 as a battery champion in its class.

Users seeking a long-lasting battery will find the Nord CE 5 to deliver exceptional endurance. If combined with efficient charging technology, this jump from the CE 4’s modest 5,500 mAh capacity could set a new benchmark.

Design:

Unlike the Nord CE 4, the Nord CE 5 has a flat frame and a flat back. The OnePlus logo is centred on the back panel, but the dual cameras stand out. An oval shape is surrounded by two distinct rings, echoing the iPhone 16’s vertical camera layout. Between the two camera rings is a dot, possibly a sensor or microphone. The module is completed by a flash on the side.

OnePlus Nord CE 5:

OnePlus Nord CE 5 5G sports a 6.72-inch FHD+ AMOLED LTPS display. It features a 120Hz refresh rate and an in-display fingerprint scanner. The device will be powered by a Dimensity 8350 SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM and a 128GB/256GB storage option. It also has a hybrid SIM slot that can take microsd cards up to 2 TB.

The OnePlus Nord CE 5 5G will feature a 50MP main Sony LYT-600 sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. Yet again, it comes with the same 16MP selfie sensor found on major OnePlus phones in the past.

The device gets Dual SIM with 4G LTE and 5G support, A-GPS, GLONASS, GPS, Dual Band Wi-Fi, and a USB Type-C Port. It also comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack, IR Blaster, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and X-Linear Motor Vibrator. It has a 7100 mAh battery with 80W fast charge support. OnePlus Nord CE 5 G will run on Android 15 OS. The device also has an IP54 rating, making it dust—and water-resistant.
