As promised Nokia has already started pushing out the latest Android 8.1 update on its last year budget smartphones with Nokia 6 and Nokia 5.Earlier this month Nokia started rolling out the March Security update for both the devices.
Today, Nokia has started pushing the Android 8.1 update to Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 in some countries like India, Tunisia, and Indonesia whereas only Indian variant of Nokia 6 is receiving the new update and other countries to follow soon.
The new Android 8.1 update weighs around 933.8MB on Nokia 6 and 866.7MB on Nokia 5 and is recommended to download the update via Wifi.The new update brings some fixes with new battery percentage for Bluetooth devices, new settings menu, and all new power menu.
So do check whether you have received the new OTA update through About the device under settings panel and be patient if not received as it will soon hit your device.
